Research and teaching are the two pillars of economics at Xiamen University and begin with our talented faculty. In recent years, a number of outstanding PhD graduates from prestigious universities abroad have further strengthened our research and teaching. SOE & WISE & Chow Institute currently have about 220 full-time faculty members, including about 100 full-time faculty members who received their PhD degrees from renowned universities overseas, and several distinguished adjunct professors who visit and teach at SOE & WISE & Chow Institute regularly each year.
